i like things/ thinking not thinking/ martin creed

 

i was trying to discribe what living is like, and i was thinking that living consists of thinking an not thinking.

i dont know if it's better to think or not to think, but i think it's probably better not to think.

i think shit is what people make and art is what people make so i think it's not so.... i think that things what people make which is what it might be called art ... it's what comes out of you. since shit is the most simple basic thing thats comes out of you, so that's what got me to thinking that art galleries are sort of like toilets.

똥은 사람들에게서 나오는 (만드는) 것이고 예술도 사람들에게서 나오는 (만드는)것이다 그래서 엄.. 나는... 그게..... (썩 다르지 않다고 생각한다)

그러니까 예술이라고 불리는 것들은 사람들안에서 나오는 것이다. 그리고 똥은 사람들이 만들어내는 가장 단순한 기본적인것이다. 그래서 나는 갤러리가 마치 화장실과 같고 생각한다. 그리고 대개 갤러리는 화장실처럼 밝고 하얗다. 나는 그것이 우연이 아니라고 생각한다.   

사회자 너무 말 잘하고 취조하듯이 구석구석 질문하고 마틴 크리드 너무 말 더듬고 i dont know라고 자주 말한다. 너무웃김

because i dont know how i work, really dont know,... well i dont know how anyone does anything, you know. 하고 눈을 휘둥그레 뜨고 사회자를 바라보자 유창하고 논리적인 사회자도 당황해 약간 말을 더듬고.
